About Us
Founded in 1982 Chester-le-Street Theatre Group is an amateur dramatics theatre group based in County Durham. Our ‘home’ where we rehearse and perform some of our productions is Chester-le-Street Community Centre which can be found in the heart of the town.
We currently have around 60 members with an age range spanning seven decades. The group comprises of 3 sections – Juniors, Graduates and Seniors which provides a broad spectrum of talent.
We normally have 3 productions a year – a play, a musical and a panto. Our shows are of a professional standard for which we have won many NODA awards.

Also Sundays (2.00pm to 5.00pm) on the run up to shows
